Software engineers who ship systems people run on
We build business software — eleven systems sold and deployed on their own, and custom engineering for the processes no product covers. Our work runs in transport, healthcare diagnostics, telecommunications and higher education.
What we do
HTECH Solutions is a software engineering firm. Most of what we are asked for falls into two shapes, and we do both: systems you can license and deploy — finance, people, procurement, stock, facilities, transport, and more — and engineering teams for the work that has no product, because the process that makes an organisation different is the one nobody sells software for.
We are usually brought in when something has stopped being tractable: a process running on spreadsheets and institutional memory, two systems that will not talk, releases that take a weekend and still break, or software that works but whose builders have moved on. That work has taken us into passenger rail, healthcare diagnostics, mobile and internet infrastructure, disaster-response services and higher education.
Our largest single product is a complete university management platform, built with people who had run universities from the inside. It is one of our products, not the whole company — and the engineering that made it is the same engineering we bring to a manufacturer, a distributor or a services business.
The team
We work from three countries — the United States, Ireland and the United Arab Emirates — which is less about offices than about hours: between them, work moves through the day rather than waiting overnight for an answer.
Our engineers have delivered for organisations including a national passenger railroad, a healthcare diagnostics network, a mobile network operator and a fibre internet provider. That work is theirs to describe, not ours, so we name the organisations and leave it there.
How we work
Discovery that maps the real process, a working increment early, then delivery in reviewable stages. No big reveal at the end.
What you own
Source code, data and infrastructure. Run it yourself, host it with us, or move it later — without asking permission.
Our standard
Honest software: real features, real data, no placeholders, and roadmap items marked as roadmap.
